BillSoft, CommSoft Partner to Provide Rating, Billing and Taxation
BillSoft Inc., a market leader for taxation, and CommSoft, a leading provider of OSS/BSS and service activation software, have partnered to provide a joint solution that enables service providers to offer fast and error-free rating, billing and taxation, according to the companies.
Service providers are faced with challenges that make provisioning for and calculating communications taxes a very complex task. CommSoft and BillSoft have joined forces to provide a solution that allows customers to accurately collect and calculate taxes using the newest technologies. The integrated solution, which includes BillSoft's EZGeo® ASP and EZTax®, and CommSoft's iCommVergence TM solutions, automate the complex process of calculating and billing for the ever-changing federal, state, county, city and special tax district rates and rules.
The fully integrated solution enables service providers like Shenandoah Telecommunications Company (Shentel) to dynamically manage and automate the pricing, billing, rating and invoicing processes, while ensuring accurate tax calculations. Shentel offers a comprehensive suite of voice, video and data communications services and was the first customer to go live with the combined solution.
